Chief Operating Officer / COO Operations, Industrialization, and Program Management (m/f/d)

As Chief Operating Officer, you are responsible for building and managing our entire operating organization. You bring us from development to testing and series production – from the supply chain to test operation to the location infrastructure. A leading role next to the management, with full operational line responsibility. You build our operating organization and run it: Manufacturing/Integration, Supply Chain, Quality, Test Operation and Location Infrastructure You are responsible for industrialization: transfer of development levels into reproducible manufacturing and integration processes including quality system You build a loadable, export control compliant supply chain for critical components You plan and manage the operation of flight test campaigns together with our test and safety teams You establish program management structures for dates, costs and risks across all programs You’re scaling the team and building the leadership structure for our further growth

That's what you bring: At least 10 years of operational responsibility in Wehrtechnik, Aerospace or a comparable high-reliability hardware industry detectable experience in the transition from development to series production (industrialization, qualification, quality system) Leadership experience across multiple functions Embossed hand-on mentality: You build up yourself instead of just delegating Very good German knowledge and good English skills Nationality of an EU or NATO Member State (except the USA) and readiness to review the security under SÜG desirable / of advantage: Experience with missiles, ammunition, rocket engines or other energy (explosive material law, storage, transport) Knowledge of military quality and qualification standards (e.g. AQAP, MIL-STD, STANAG) Experience with BAAINBw procurement programs on the contractor side Experience in building production or test sites (accepts, construction, commissioning) Military background
