Your duties You are experienced in quarter management and want to move, effect and shape a lot? Then you will become the heart, the voice and the motor “Your” quarters in the Friedlingen district. Their mission: to create places of encounter, to strengthen cohesion, to give people courage to actively shape their environment, and to make the quarter visible and attractive – also through press and public relations work and the support of social media channels. In concrete terms, you will enable and support the residents to introduce and implement their ideas: for example, you will organize projects, actions and conduct personal discussions. In addition, You build sustainable networks in the district, organize and moderate city districts as well as network meetings and maintain direct exchange with actors from social work, urban planning and district management. With heart blood, you design the Quartier meeting as a living meeting place, coordinate volunteers and develop events that make exchange, participation and community experienceable. At the same time, you will provide a solid finan­cial basis: you will apply for funding, fund donations and keep in mind the accounting of the quarter.

We build on Completed studies or comparable qualifications in social work, social services, urban and regional development, regional management or related fields Multiannual practical experience in quarter, district or community management and routine in project work, funding acquisitions and budget management are of advantage.
