Senior Expert Group Accounting (m/f/d)

You are responsible for the production, review and analysis of consolidated financial statements and the quality of financial reporting at Group level. You are responsible for coordinating and harmonising accounting policies and reporting standards with local financial teams, including training and workshops. The strategic leadership in the automation and digitization of financial reporting processes, implementation of best practices and implementation of process analysis to increase efficiency is your responsibility. You advise on complex transactions and intercompany agreements, the development of guidelines on the handling of technical accounting issues and the application of relevant standards (e.g. IFRS 15) in complex projects. You act as the main partner (m/w/d) for external audits, including the provision of comprehensive documentation and ensure compliance with IFRS governance and capital market requirements. You provide deep financial analyses and strategic recommendations for internal stakeholders.

You bring a degree with a focus on areas such as accounting/audit or finance. You have several years of professional experience, preferably in a comparable function in the group accounting system of a listed company or in an audit firm. You have comprehensive knowledge of the application of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and the Commercial Code (HGB) as well as experience in the implementation and optimization of IFRS processes and governance. You have already gained deeper expertise in at least two complex accounting areas (e.g. Lease Accounting, Impairment Testing, Revenue Recognition). Your distinct independent and structured way of working, your analytical thinking and your enforcing ability are characterized. Their good communication skills, in German and English, complete your profile.
