Your role Construction and development of mechanical and opto-mechanical assemblies for our cockpit and cabin systems in 3D CAD (preferably PTC Creo) including drawing dissipation and piece list creation
Design and precise design of opto-mechanical devices for the production and characterization of our systems
Structural mechanical and thermal analysis using FEM methods
Compilation of technical documentation and standard drawings to ensure compliance with aviation standards and requirements
Data management in the PLM system (SAP)
Close coordination with internal interfaces (e.g. development, production, quality, purchasing) to ensure a robust product and manufacturing design
Own-sponsored organisation of scheduled parts procurement for internal and external suppliers
Construction, commissioning and optimization of prototypes and devices
Successfully completed studies in mechanical engineering, precision engineering, mechatronics or a comparable qualification (e.g. technician)
Multiannual professional experience in mechanical design, ideally in the environment of optical, opto-mechanical and/or precision mechanical systems in the Aerospace market segment
Very good 3D CAD knowledge, preferably PTC Creo, as well as safe handling of technical drawings, standards, tolerance & configuration management
Width, applicable knowledge of manufacturing processes (e.g. cutting, sheet metal processing, assembly) and production-oriented design
Funded technical understanding, ideally in optics and photonics with preliminary knowledge of the optics standard ISO 10110
Flexible, structured and self-responsive operation combined with strong team and communication capability – especially in exchange with internal interfaces and with suppliers
Basic knowledge of mechatronic systems (sensory, actuators, simple drive or control concepts) of advantage
Good knowledge of German and English in word and writing for cooperation in an international environment
