As part of the “Control Center – Operation Planning” I link the results of the energy trade with the transmission capacities of our power lines. So I make sure that the power grid remains safe and stable around the clock. I work together with partners in Germany and Europe. My tasks: As part of the day-ahead timetable management, I make sure that messages on physical infeed and outfeeding are transferred correctly into the systems and processed in processes, I am responsible for determining and validating the trading capacities via our border domes and thus enabling day-ahead and intraday power trading in Europe, I am in close cooperation with national and European electricity grid operators, to enable predictive and reliable evaluation of our security of supply in the Adequacy process, In addition to operational work, I am also responsible in project layers as a process specialist*in for constantly improving our systems and processes. I proactively introduce myself to national specialist teams or automate our workflows through my programming skills.

I have a completed study of electrical engineering / energy technology and similar courses of study with appropriate focus, I have good expertise on current, frequency, voltage and meshed networks, I communicate clearly and work team-wide with my colleagues in the system management and other contacts, I draw from my predictive and solution-oriented approach, I am pleased to cooperate with external colleagues from other TSOs at national and European level, I'm ready to work in the two-shift system (day and night shifts). The time-fixed and compressed work offers a lot of benefits in recreational design and financial spaces, which are rare in the normal everyday office, I have knowledge of German (C1) and at least good knowledge of English in word and writing (B2). No need, but of advantage: first experience in network calculation, knowledge of application-oriented programming languages (e.g. Pyhton), Driving licence ‘Class B’
