The SOS Children's Village Niederrhein is active in child and youth assistance, vocational education and counselling. We take care of children, young people, adults and families in special situations of life. Our facility is represented at the Niederrhein in Kleve, Kevelaer, Emmerich am Rhein, Geldern and Duisburg with more than ten locations. Around 300 employees help, support and accompany 2,500 people, participants and visitors.

In our stationary housing group, we serve six children aged four to eight who are in a sensitive phase of clarification. Our goal is to find the best possible long-term food for every child. In a structured and loving environment, you accompany the children on their way and work closely with specialists from psychology, medicine and youth aid. They accompany, care and promote the children in their daily lives and give them safety and orientation through structures, rituals and an appreciation of the relationship. Together with the team, you implement the agreed clarification order and are actively involved in education and assistance planning They design and organize the daily routine of the children with educational feeling – from meals to playing times to school or kindergarten visits They document the developments of the children in a professional way and create meaningful reports that serve as the basis for the recommendation of the future food point.
