Project Engineer Specialist in Control and Safety Technology in General Refurbishment

The route corridor between Obertraubling and Passau is part of the Rhein-Donau-Korridor and is one of the most heavily loaded and most demanding rail axes in Germany. In order to realize the high-performance network 2030, this section is fully renewed as part of a five-month total lock – a project with the highest technical complexity. As a project engineer:in specialist Leit- und Sicherheitstechnik (LST), you take a central role in this general renovation and, with your expertise, shape the quality, safety and modernization of one of Germany's most important infrastructure projects. At the next time, we are looking for you as a project engineer:in specialist:in control and safety technology in general renovation (w/m/d) for DB InfraGO AG at the Munich site. Your tasks:

The overall technical responsibility for all LST plants – from signal technology to control units and railway junctions to the cable systems within the general renovation is in your area of responsibility. You control the implementation over all performance phases As a professional manager, you guide assigned planners:inside, construction supervisors:inside, surveyors:inside and project staff in the LST area and ensure that technical continuity is guaranteed Quality, budget and timely implementation of the LST equipment and refurbishment measures are under your control - You also make sure that all requirements for VV Bau STE, EBA and operational requirements are met. The contract and follow-up management for LST services (LV, LeiV, engineering contracts) falls within your responsibility – you organize audit runs and prepare award decisions professionally Technical documentation, signal and cable plans as well as execution documentation are carefully checked by you for completeness, plausibility and control unit compliance You recognise opportunities and risks as well as technical dependencies at an early stage and initiate targeted countermeasures as part of LST risk management. Interfaces to the roadway, OLA, EEA, TK, traffic stations, DB Energy, authorities and other external stakeholders are coordinated with you – especially in the case of complex dependencies during stoppages and operational changes You will ensure complete, consistent project documentation, inventory plan repatriation and technical project completion without open points and will represent your area dedicated to internal and external specialist bodies

Your profile:

A successfully completed study in electrical engineering, control and safety technology, communications technology, energy technology or a comparable qualification will be brought with you Experience in the planning, testing or implementation of LST projects (such as signals, ESTW, BÜS, cable deep construction, technology building) is what distinguishes you – ideally you have already worked with DB infrastructure With VV Bau STE, EBA regulations, VOB as well as in contract and licensing (HOAI, building order law) you know yourself well Technical dependencies between LST, road, overhead, power supply and operational framework conditions in the high-performance network are familiar to you Strategic and structured work and a solution-oriented look at the daily challenges are among your strengths – responsibility for quality, security and project objectives are your pleasure to take Communication skills, sovereignty in dealing with contractors:inside and internal partners:inside as well as experience in professional leadership complete your personal profile Loadability, negotiation skills and the ability to understand even complex technical issues are of course for you
