The large district town of Glauchau is looking for a project-related determined by 30.06.2028 within the area III – civic service, school, youth for the hort at the Erich-Weinert-Schule Elementary School Glauchau ab earliest 01.07.2026

for the project Stark for life. Strengthened in the future.” in the programme ‘Children Strengthen 2.0’ of the European Social Fund. An adjustment shall be made subject to the approval of the funding requested.

Your Task

• to identify specific needs for help and support for children and their families
• Development and implementation of promotional and specific offers and support measures
• Activation, support and deepening of cooperation between the hort facility and parents
• Advising parents and staff in special circumstances
• Fall advice and supervision for the educational staff of the institution
• Advice and, if necessary, assistance/mediation of parents with regard to the child and/or the families concerning
• Migration work with parents and children, especially in the field of language (e.g. mediation interpreter)
• Individual or microgroup offers for affected children,
• Parent afternoons/ evenings with topic-specific input, e.g. education, finance, funding instruments, support and/or promotional offers, therapeutic offers
• Interface formation with the start-up and consulting point First Step

We expect you

Formal requirements:

They have one of the following professional qualifications:

• Nationally recognized childhood education
• Nationally recognized social education
• State-approved social workers
• state-approved medical education/
• Diploma or Bachelor in Educational Studies, Degree in Social Education/Social Work or Childhood Education

You can also apply if you have a professional qualification in:

• Child and youth psychology,
• Supporting education,
• language education or
• Rehabilitation education
• at least two years of professional experience in a social education field of child and youth assistance, disability assistance, school social work or social services

In addition, the following specialists can also be admitted:

• state-approved educators/
• State-recognized nurses

WHEREAS they have at least four years of professional experience in a social pedagogical field of child and youth assistance, disability assistance, school social work or social services, or have completed further training in the field of early childhood diagnostics, development planning, parental work, adult education or multilingualism, as well as dealing with children with a migration background of at least 80 hours.

Quality requirements:

• safe handling of MS-Office (standard software)

External requirements:

• estimating and accepting basic attitude towards the target groups
• independent, structured and collegial working
• Individual initiative, conceptual thinking, willingness to design and creativity
• readiness for flexible working hours
• Responsibility and reliability
• Citizenship and high social competence
• Driving license class B and willingness to use your own car

Working time

• 30 hours/week, flexible

• a payment according to the collective agreement of public service with a maximum allocation to the Deferred group S 11b - depending on the personal qualification requirements
