Senior Software Developer Laravel (m/f/d)

Conception, development and maintenance of powerful backend services with Laravel Implementation of business logic and complex workflows, cleanly structured and well testable

Modelling and further development of databases, data structures and migration concepts

Performance, scalability and security as standard, including Query optimization, caching and robust Auth and rights models

Database Engineering with PostgreSQL, including Schema Design, Indexing, Query Tuning, Migration Strategy and Clean Data Modelling for Stable and High Performance Workflows

Close coordination with the frontend team in React and Inertia for clear contracts, stable APIs, clean DTOs and traceable error handling

Architecture and Concept Coordination together with the Techlead, including decision documentation and consistent implementation of the guide planks

Code Reviews with Focus on Junior and Mid Developers, Best Practices, Testing Culture and Sustainable Code Quality

Participation in Reliability topics such as Queues, Redis, Monitoring and CI CD, so releases remain stable and Incidents can be mastered

Multiannual experience in professional software development with clear focus on Backend, ideally in B2B SaaS Very good understanding of modern backend architectures and clean separation of domain, application layer, API and infrastructure

Very good knowledge of Laravel, including API Design, Auth and Rolling Rights, Queues and Jobs, Data Modelling and Performance Optimization

Solid database expertise with PostgreSQL, including scheme design, indexing, query tuning and safe handling of migrations

Experience with Queues and Caching as well as good understanding of asynchronous workflows and reliable job processing

Experience with observability and operation, including logs, monitoring, alerting and traceable error analysis in production

Experience with Docker and modern deployment setups as well as safe handling of CI CD pipelines

High demand for code quality, including testing strategy, reviews, static analysis and clear engineering standards

Experience in code reviews and mentoring of junior and mid developers, professional leadership without people management claim

Structured, independent working, pragmatic and solution-oriented with a view to stability, security and scaling

Language requirements: Very good knowledge of English at C1 level required. German knowledge desirable

Nice to have Frontend experience with React and Inertia to implement tickets end to end as needed and to coordinate API contracts closely with the frontend
