Educator Day Group (m/f/d)

Become part of the AWO family! For our semi-stationary day group in Hagen, we are now looking for a dedicated pedagogical specialist (w/m/d) that accompanies and supports children in primary school in the afternoon area on their individual development path. In a small, intensive setting with six seats, we offer children aged 6 to 12 years of age a holistic support – with plenty of space for relationship work, interdisciplinary cooperation and individual support in the social and emotional field.

That's the point: • Holistic support for children aged 6-12 years • Substationary measure according to §32 SGB VIII with a total of 6 seats • Accompanying children in their individual learning and development steps • Implementation of learning and development documentation • Intensive cooperation with the family system, close parental work • Close cooperation with the ASD • Close cooperation with school and other institutions • Support in personal development (especially emotional and social)

We wish: • A completed vocational training or study: educators, nurses, social pedagogues B.A., social workers B.A., medical pedagogues or B.A. • An appreciative and sensitive approach to children in primary school age • An appreciation of children who have difficulties in their emotional and/or social development • Experience in working with parents • Constructive teamwork • Ability to work independently • Experience in child protection • Class B driving licence
