The area of responsibility shall include in particular: Assessment and monitoring of systems for handling water-prone substances Preliminary examination and assessment of applications for approval under construction, immission protection and water law Assessment of applications for authorisations for residential buildings and annexes in flood and water protection areas Advising applicants and planning offices Other cooperation in the implementation of water laws

Requirements profile: successfully completed qualification examination for the entry of the 2nd level of qualification of the course of natural science and technology, field of engineering and environmental management, field of water management or alternatively a successful conclusion as a state-tested technician (m/w/d) in the field of construction technology or environmental technology at a public or state-approved technician school; or Completion of a suitable master's examination in one of the disciplines of beneficial craft (e.g. water master; effluent master) or Completion of a suitable industrial master's examination (m/w/d) in an official's relationship (first training is expected to start at 01.09.2028) Compliance with the general conditions of civil liability (e.g. health suitability, age limit – 45). Year of life may not be completed at the later appointment in the official's relation to rehearsal, German nationality or another Member State of the European Union)
