The children's centre supervises children from two school districts in a partially open concept in the kindergarten and an open concept in the hort -- directly on the southern main bank, surrounded by museums and cultural offers within walking distance. Your tasks:

• They design educational and educational processes individually and holistic by accompanying children of different age groups in their development and addressing their respective needs -- in kindergarten as well as in hort.
• Observation and documentation are part of your everyday life: They maintain development progress, reflect these together in the team and use your knowledge to provide optimal development opportunities for each child.
• In close cooperation with parents, schools and institutions of youth work, you promote a trusted cooperation -- resulting in sustainable networks that focus on the well-being of each child.
• Together with your colleagues, you develop creative offers and educational concepts, bring your ideas actively and contribute to a lively and inspiring team culture.
• They create spaces in which children can learn, play and develop social skills -- in the partially open kindergarten as well as in the open Hort concept.
• You will also be responsible for the planning and implementation of projects, festivals and excursions that enable children to enjoy sustainable experiences and raise their curiosity.

Your profile:

• They have a degree as a nationally recognised educator (m/w/d), Social pedagogue (m/w/d), Socialist (m/w/d) or equivalent qualification according to HKJGB §25b Hessisches Kinder- und Jugendschutzgesetzbuch.
• Joy in working with children shapes your professional self-image: They have the desire to accompany, promote children on their way of development and to make their strengths visible.
• With empathy and flexibility you meet the different needs of children and their families -- you listen to, observe sensitively and adapt your pedagogical approaches in situ.
• Reflective power distinguishes you: They regularly question your pedagogical work, take impulses from training and continue to develop to provide the best possible support for children.
