This is an unlimited full-time job (38 hours). Remuneration is carried out in accordance with the provisions of the VTV of the Integration Group and is located in the D sector and consists of 13 monthly salaries. In this responsible position, you control and optimise the sales and procurement portfolio for the energy carriers electricity and gas as well as CO2. You are responsible for the procurement of electricity, natural gas and certificates in OTC trading. Your tasks include monitoring market, position and credit risks and compliance with defined risk limits. In addition, you are responsible for contract management and ensure compliance with contractual agreements. Through continuous monitoring of the market, price and quantity situation, you can recognize developments and needs for action at an early stage. You create analyses, evaluations and reports for internal decision-making processes and thus support sound corporate governance. You work closely with sales, market communication, controlling, risk and balance sheet management. You ensure the consistent implementation of the core energy processes (MaBiS & Gabi gas). Your area of responsibility also includes the support and configuration of the software for procurement and sales portfolio management. In addition, you will participate in cross-departmental projects and take on special tasks for the further development of our processes and business areas.

You have a successfully completed master's degree programme with the Department of Economics, Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering and several years of professional experience in energy trading, portfolio management, energy procurement or a comparable environment. You are desirable to have a completed EEX dealership check for spot and date markets. You have very good IT skills and control the safe handling of Office365, VBA, SQL and BI tools. You actively pursue current developments in the energy industry and integrate new requirements as well as market trends into your work. You are characterized by a high degree of self-responsibility, self-employment and a structured way of working. Thanks to your rapid understanding and strong analytical thinking skills, you also capture complex relationships and develop sound solutions. You convince by a safe occurrence, pronounced communication strength and a high team orientation. You work with colleagues and executives in a trusting and value-adding manner, in line with the values and guidelines of the AVU Group.
