Development of implementation concepts, designs and implementations for FPGA-based frame grabbers for recording camera data (e.g. via multi-pixel/clock cycle technology), including requirements engineering in close cooperation with the specialist departments

Development of C++ software for controlling hardware components and architectures, as well as creation of the associated development documentation

Implementation of simulations of modified/prepared FPGA components with ModelSim, VUnit, etc.

Conducting tests on a test system and ensuring the quality of the delivered software and firmware

Start-up of the developed system at the plants, perform acceptance tests and ensure support (SW/HW)

New/further development and restructuring of software solutions together in the Scrum team

Product Owner's technical support in the analysis of processes and request collection, as well as the estimation of implementation expenses

completed university studies in computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable engineering course

Multiannual professional experience and very good knowledge in FPGA programming, especially with Intel/Altera FPGAs and VHDL/System Verilog

sound knowledge of object-oriented programming under C++ and experience in developing software for Windows platforms

Knowledge of image processing and experience with camera interfaces such as CameraLink and CoaXPress

Ability to create technical documentation and carry out quality assurance tests

strong affinity for hardware and physical measurement methods, as well as experience in the connection and control of hardware components (TCP/IP, etc.)

Expertise in creating complex hardware-related software systems and a pronounced understanding of software architectures and patterns

good knowledge of MS Visual Studio, version management under Git/TFS and CI/CD under Azure DevOps

good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
