Nursing staff maintain and provide people of all ages in their living situations. You are responsible for the planning, implementation and evaluation of care processes and assist patients in managing their diseases. You work closely with specialists from different fields. After the successful completion, graduates receive a double qualification: the academic bachelor's degree and the state-approved training degree as a nursery. In addition to direct patient care, this opens up perspectives in projects, in quality management or in the development of expert standards. Individual care of patients with diabetes or wounds and dementia patients is also possible after their studies. For dual study and training In cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences Bochum – Technik, Wirtschaft, Gesundheit, St. Elisabeth Group offers the dual study of nursing (B.Sc.). In eight semesters, the study combines theoretical content at the university with practical work in the institutions of the St. Elisabeth Group. The degree programme includes both the classical training content and the bachelor's thesis and medical activities in the fields of diabetes, wound care and dementia. The degree of training is integrated into the study.
