In the Business Unit X-Ray Solutions of the ZEISS Industry Quality Solutions, we are looking for a dedicated development engineer electrical engineering / automation technology (m/w/x) within the R&D team.

Concept development, planning and complete implementation of control systems for automated and partially automated industrial X-ray CT systems this includes electrical hardware, PLC machine control, an associated HMI, BUS systems and project-specific data exchange with customer systems

Accompanying and supporting the development of circuit or circuit diagrams and project planning with EPLAN

Further development, optimization and error analysis of the SPS control solutions used

Implementation of the commissioning of prototype plants in our plants, preferably in Oberkochen and with the customer on site

Technical documentation or Examination of documents for accuracy and completeness

Interface function in regular exchange with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders as part of a global R&E team

Implementation of customer requirements, regulations and standards such as CE, UL/CSA

successfully completed engineering studies in the field of electrical engineering, mechatronics or comparable discipline, as well as preferably a previously completed training to the electronics company with the field of automation technology or comparable

Multiannual professional experience in the development of electrical systems, automation technology, PLC machine programming and in the commissioning of production systems

very good basic understanding of the function of automated machines, plants and associated conveyor technology, in particular drive technology and robot technology, and the associated safety technology

Professional experience in the creation and use of electrical hardware circuit diagrams in EPLAN are of advantage

Experiences with different bus systems and with visualization software (HMI)

Teamability and international travel readiness as part of the completion of our machines and the transfer to customers

proactive, solution-oriented and systematic operation

very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
