You advise our specialist departments on insurance issues, in particular in contract, corporate and capital investment law as well as on supervisory issues and BaFin regulations. In addition, you are responsible for the legal examination of contracts as well as the professional advice on disaggregations. The creation of well-founded legal opinions with clear recommendations for action for the departments of VPV is one of your tasks. In addition, you conduct processes in cooperation with external lawyers. The participation in cross-departmental projects completes your area of responsibility.

You bring a solid legal basis – ideally as a full lawyer (m/w/d) or business lawyer (m/w/d) with completed studies and professional experience in insurance, banks, law firms and financial or consulting service providers. In new and complex legal areas you will find yourself quickly and combine analytical thinking with pragmatic and creative problem solving techniques. The sovereign handling of digital tools is part of everyday work for you, including MS Office, SharePoint, Jira, Confluence and modern AI, research and data analysis tools. Team spirit, communication strength, flexibility and empathy are both a structured and independent way of working. Very good English knowledge of C1 level, especially in contract law, complete your profile.
