Test Manager / Team Lead (m/w/d)

In this function, you are responsible for the development and execution of demanding tests that ensure that the products meet the highest quality and performance standards. They contribute to the continuous improvement of test methods and processes.

Test planning and specification: development and documentation of demand-based test plans and test cases that are specially adapted to embedded systems and their components. Team leadership: leadership of a team of test engineers, ensuring an efficient test procedure and continuous promotion of the further development of team members. Test setup and environments: design and integration of test rigs and test environments that enable testing on hardware and software components. Use of test instruments: application of specialized measuring instruments such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers and JTAG debuggers to verify the functionality and performance of embedded systems. Test implementation and analysis: performance of functional and safety-critical tests, documentation of test results and analysis and identification of error sources. Process optimization: Continuous improvement of test methods, tools and processes taking into account the latest developments in the field of embedded systems. Reporting: Regular reporting to the management on test results, risks and potential for improvement.

Technical training or studies in electrical engineering, computer science or a related area Experience in the test management of embedded systems, especially in work with microcontrollers (e.g. ARM, AVR, PIC) Knowledge in the development and testing of microcontroller-based systems, including the creation and execution of test cases for hardware and software components Experience in test automation and with tools like Jira, TestRail or Quality Center Practical experience in handling oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers and JTAG debuggers for analysis and troubleshooting Leadership and experience in the management of test teams, with a focus on process optimization and team development Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS) such as FreeRTOS, VxWorks or ThreadX are advantageous German and English language skills in word and writing
