Finance Leader - Braking Germany (m/f/d)

The location in Glinde is a leading global supplier of power and safety technologies for railways and trains, Aerospace, Marine, energy production and industrial markets, as well as for the global spare parts business.

For the financial management of the four German legal units within the brake pad division, we are looking for an experienced management personality in the area of Finance & Controlling, which acts as a strategic business partner for management and location management. The role is heavily involved in transformation and restructuring processes and requires close cooperation within the matrix organization in the group.

Your focus:

Strategic Finance Business Partner for Management and Management of the Four German Legal Units Proactive identification and implementation of cost optimization, margin improvement and productivity enhancement Responsibility for cash and working capital optimization and cash forecasts Financial management and support of ongoing restructuring (representation of cost scenarios, tracking, reviews) Total responsibility for budget, forecast and multiannual planning processes Creating meaningful management reports and KPI analyses with clear operational recommendations General responsibility for financial statements according to US GAAP and HGB Control of Accounting Service Provider (Genpact) Contact person for auditors, tax advisors, banks and authorities Ensuring compliance with local legal regulations and US corporate guidelines Coordination of all tax issues, including corporate tax, commercial tax, turnover tax and billing prices Responsibility for the German Cash Pool and Intercompany Financing Leadership, development and coaching of the local finance team

Completed studies in finance, accounting, BWL or comparable Additional qualification as an auditor or tax advisor desirable At least 7–10 years of relevant professional experience in senior finance or controlling functions Found experience in production and/or engineering environments Experience in cost optimization, restructuring and cash improvement Very good knowledge of the German Commercial Code (HGB) Experience with US concert structures as well as with shared service centers desirable Very good SAP FI/CO knowledge, experience with OneStream, HFM or comparable tools Embossed business partner mentality and persuasion Hands-on, pragmatic and solution-oriented working style Analytical, structured and result-oriented Safe in handling complex multi-entity structures Loadable and design-intensive in transformation and restructuring phases High integrity
