As an experienced manager (w/m/d) of the Information Security Advisory Centre, you are responsible for the further development of the Information Security Advisory Services in the Hessian State Administration. You plan and monitor the deployments of the specialist team, contractual arrangements with external service providers and the budget. In addition, you are responsible for creating the security concepts, assessing the BSI-IT basic protection methodology, controlling reporting to decision-making bodies and leading the further development of the process structure for the ISM tool. With your work, you will ensure that the measures to protect sensitive data, as well as the security and integrity of IT systems in the Hesse countryside are guaranteed.

You have a completed relevant scientific higher education of informatics/economic informatics or a comparable degree course or you have comparable knowledge. You have deep knowledge and many years of experience in information security management and were ideally proven to be successful in handling security issues and/or IT security incidents. You have very good knowledge and experience of IT-relevant planning and control processes, especially in the areas of budgeting and controlling. You have broad knowledge of security processes according to the BSI basic protection and many years of experience in the application of the BSI basic protection methodology and in the creation of IT security concepts according to BSI standard. You have many years of experience in managing teams. You have an analytical mindset that enables you to penetrate problems quickly, develop solutions independently and work into complex topics.
