As an Integrated Environments Manager*in, you will monitor our Retail of the Future IT infrastructure across applications on different cloud systems. You will provide guidance and transparency to enable the smooth operation of the systems across different deployment stages and production environments. This role includes the function as a leading broker between quality assurance, release management, cutover & migration, SRE and application teams, with their requirements being integrated and standards and guidelines being advanced. You will monitor the transitions of systems and releases from the test phase to production while ensuring stability and minimal interruptions. With your technical expertise, you will not only start teams, but also enable automated monitoring of environmental links, status and versioning. In addition, you will propose and manage infrastructure changes and upgrades in cooperation with various application teams. These exciting tasks and responsibilities await you with us: Strong understanding of IT operation and infrastructure management, including cloud services and on-premises systems

Experience in managing and providing infrastructure through code in multi-cloud environments

Orchestriere the management, maintenance and optimization of a wide network of systems across different stages (DEV, INT, UAT, PROD) to ensure their smooth operation

Coordination of test data together with testing teams, from requirements to synchronization and documentation

Understand the interfaces and connections between systems, correct any connection problems and secure seamless interactions based on interface contract tools

As a switching between the teams responsible for system rollout and tests, make sure that the requirements from the test phases are integrated into the operating environment

Coordinate the transition of releases from test environments to production environments and ensure a seamless transition, stability and minimal operational interruptions

Guide the planning and implementation of infrastructure changes and upgrades, and work closely with relevant teams

knowledge of SRE practices, including monitoring, incident response and reliability engineering

Cooperation with development, testing, rollout and operations teams as well as project and demand management

Ideally you qualify for this job: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Informatics or a related STEM subject Proven experience of 5+ years in IT infrastructure management Knowledge of the Mercedes-Benz Sales IT setup and its architecture Deep understanding of network infrastructure, system administration and IT operations Strong knowledge of system interfaces, connections and their impact on overall performance Competence in monitoring the integration of new systems or updates of test phases into the production environment to ensure smooth transitions and minimal operational interruptions without direct technical involvement Programming, scripting and/or automation capabilities (e.g. Python, Bash or Go) Experience with Git for version control and knowledge of modern Branching strategies Strong cloud and DevOps mentality and expertise in cloud platforms (AWS preferred; Azure or Google Cloud) Solid experience in dealing with Jira and Confluence General understanding of IT architecture and infrastructure design principles as well as test and environment management Knowledge of program management methodology and experience in the management of complex IT projects Strong leadership and coordination capabilities to synchronize efforts from different teams for effective system rollout and training integration Excellent communication skills for working with cross-functional teams to ensure a coherent approach to system deployments Extensive ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Agile and practical thinking flowing in English (written and oral); English is a plus Nice to have: Experience with the use and application of GenAI solutions Experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) and/or other agile methods Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, AWS Solution Architect or similar certifications are advantageous What you can look forward to: Flexible working time models including the possibility for mobile work Over-tariff compensation with holiday allowances and special payments as well as occupational pensions Various training and development offers Additional information: It is an indefinite body.
