Who are we? Around 16,000 people work in pastoral care, administration and social institutions and educational institutions at the Erzbistum München and Freising. On behalf of the archbishop of Munich and Freising, the Ordinariat of Munich performs the tasks of the diocese administration. The Erzbistum Munich and Freising operates one of the largest IT networks in Upper Bavaria. For over 1,200 locations in the entire area of Upper Bavaria, around 90 employees of IT are employed every day to ensure the safe and reliable operation of more than 6,500 clients in a wide range of topics. Whether in central administration buildings, parishes, daycare centers, schools or old homes, we professionally support all employees with our powerful teams in a total of four IT departments. Maintain and further develop the application landscape Ensure the care and availability of the affected applications with the help of and through the control of external service providers Responsible for the change management of the applications Support and advise the departments in the implementation of business processes and the creation of technical specialist concepts Accompanying rollout projects including (partial) project management as well as advice and support during the implementation phase further develop the IT landscape and optimize business and IT processes.

completed university studies in business informatics, computer science or business administration (Bachelor/Dipl. FH) or completed IT training in connection with relevant further education Experience in application operation, especially in the field of Content Management Systems (CMS) – ideally Ibexa Experience in managing external service providers sound ITIL process knowledge Knowledge of automation, end-to-end monitoring and authentication technologies Team and communication skills and enforcement capability Identification with the aims and values of the Catholic Church.
