For a technically demanding industrial company in the Kassel area, we are now looking for a Senior Software Developer Embedded Linux / C++ (m/w/d).

In this position, you develop and optimize software for electronic assemblies in complex technical systems. You accompany the software over the entire development cycle - from conception and implementation to integration and verification to series release. In addition, you take responsibility as a Product Owner in agile software projects.

You develop software for electronic assemblies in complex technical systems. Develop and optimize existing software under Embedded Linux. You design and implement new software functions and components. The entire software development cycle - from design to implementation, integration and verification to series release - will actively accompany you. You support system integration and systematic troubleshooting and troubleshooting. You can create the required technical documentation in accordance with the applicable standards and internal specifications. You work closely with the areas of system development, hardware development, manufacturing and quality assurance. Perspectively take over the role of Product Owner in agile software projects.

You have a successfully completed study of computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable qualification. You bring many years of professional experience in hardware-related or embedded software development. In software development with C, C++, Tcl and Python you have well-founded practical experience. You have experience in the device driver development for embedded Linux as well as in the creation and configuration of Yocto projects. You are familiar with basic methods of agile software development. You have knowledge of the processing of security-relevant software projects in the field of Security & Safety. Experience in cooperation with external software suppliers is desirable. A strategic and creative way of thinking as well as a structured, independent way of working. You have good knowledge of German and English in word and writing. For this activity, you bring the willingness to an extended safety review. This can be carried out parallel to the use, so that a short-term entry is basically possible.

You will receive a collective remuneration according to the GVP tariff agreement, as well as industry supplements, holiday and Christmas money if necessary. Your employment contract with expertum is unlimited. You work in full time with 40 hours a week in normal layer. During the entire operation you have a fixed personal contact with expertum.
