Data, Coding, Technology - this is your world? Then become part of our Data Engineering team as Senior Data Engineer (m/w/d) and develop new and innovative solutions for the transformation of Vodafone to Digital Telco. Work with state-of-the-art tools and open-source-libraries. Take a central role in our data team and build Big Data Pipelines for automated real-time actions in the Vodafone network. Develop database solutions in an interdisciplinary team of Data Engineers, Data Scientists and Software Engineers. Bring the digitalization of Vodafone Network Operations to the top!

You develop the data models for our databases and program the data pipelines, even within cloud architectures. You unlock new data sources, analyze the data together with the Data Scientists and prepare them. You can use your Data Engineering network fault detection in real time with the help of large datasets. You ensure data quality and optimize the performance of the ETL processes. You support the further development of data strategy and database architectures. You run the Data Pipelines and the team databases at application level.

A degree in computer science or a comparable qualification Multiannual experience with databases (especially Oracle), data modeling, ETL processes, data wareusing, real-time data processing, data movement technologies, data streaming technologies (e.g. Kafka) Very good programming skills (e.g. in Python) and practical experience in software development, excellent SQL knowledge Self-responsibility, self-responsibility, high initiative and the willingness to take responsibility. Problem-solving thinking, pronounced analytical skills. High team capacity and fun in cooperation in international teams. English and German are safe to negotiate.
