Short presentation and your tasks

The Interdisciplinary Study Centre (ISZ) currently looks after approx. 70 clinical studies that investigate innovative treatment concepts for patients with oncological diseases. These are studies initiated by the pharmaceutical industry, as well as academic studies carried out multicentric, national and international. The study centre is embedded in the Comprehensive Cancer Center Mainfranken (CCC MF) of the UKW, the Bavarian Centre for Cancer Research (BZKF) and the National Center for Tumor Therapy (NCT), allowing very interactive fields of work and attractive cooperation.

For our team of doctors, study coordinators, MFA and nurses, the careful treatment and care of our patients is the focus of our daily action. By participating in clinical trials, we actively contribute to the improvement of oncological care and ensure our patients access to the most modern treatment methods and medicines.

Your tasks include:

• Patient care in clinical trials
• Implementation of study-specific measures in accordance with study protocols
• Letter from 12-channel ECGs
• Conducting venous blood withdrawals
• Monitoring and administration of drugs (oral, subcutaneous, intravenous)
• Processing and dispatch of blood samples as part of scientific accompanying programmes
• Precise documentation of all activities
• Collection of study-relevant data into specific database systems
• Cooperation with test physicians and internal interfaces

This is important in this job:

• a qualified professional qualification as health care and nursing staff, as well as 1-2 years of professional experience, in the oncological field
• if necessary. Experience in carrying out studies or interest in working in this area. The training offer is large and participation in a certified study course is supported in any case.
• You like to work independently, responsibly, structured and reliable
• Joy in team work, reliable communication and enthusiasm for new projects
• Care and reliability is essential
• very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing
• good computer knowledge (MS-Office, Windows)
