Development Engineer Electronics Hardware (m/w/d)

We are looking for a development engineer/in electronics hardware (m/w/d) for our Adelberg site at the next time possible.

Tasks:

• Professional responsibility for internal standardization of design, development, verification of electronic hardware and their documentation processes in sensors and actuators for automotive applications
• Check and correct electronic designs, electrical specifications and related customer documents
• Configuring and managing ECAD software versions and templates for electronic development documentation
• Support RFQ processes for automotive sensors and actuators for European and American OEMs, including responsibility for electronic design in technical customer solutions
• Construction and maintenance of supplier relationships to get early access to new technologies and applications in the pre-development area
• Support for global purchasing planning and decision-making in the selection of ICs and electronic components used in different product lines
• Support for global purchasing planning and decision-making for integrated circuits (ICs) and electronic components for different product lines
• cooperation in the planning and implementation of FMEA, DV and PV tests as well as functional safety error injection tests in product development

Your profile:

• Bachelor, Master or equivalent degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, automation technology, physics or a comparable degree course
• At least 4 years of professional experience in the automotive electronics industry
• Good knowledge of position, speed, pressure or inductive sensors and their use in drive trains or electric drive systems
• You are familiar with prototype and product development processes and have experience in product verification and validation according to ISO and OEM standards
• Experience in EMC-compliant PCB design and the application of layout rules and design specifications for high-speed applications as well as for power electronics using EDA software (e.g. Altium, Cadence, PADS, Multisim)
• You have experience in designing electrical circuits
• Experience in the simulation of circuits using EDA software or PSpice/LTSpice to verify and interpret circuit designs
• You have good knowledge of automotive qualification standards and tolerance values for electronic components and materials
• Knowledge or professional experience in Functional Safety in accordance with ISO 26262 are advantageous
• You speak English fluently. Other languages are advantageous
