Dual study program in electrical engineering (Bachelor of Engineering)

As part of our dual study model in cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences Bremen, you regularly change between theory and practice. You not only learn from books, but work early on on real projects in an international high-tech company and gather experience in the entire production process – from product idea to series production. In our development department you participate in the design and development of electrotechnical measuring systems. You will also accompany our production team during the commissioning of measuring instruments. You support the development, simulation and commissioning of electronic assemblies. You actively participate in the error analysis and quality assurance of our measurement products. Your use is also required in the planning and implementation of control and control systems. Certainly, you document technical processes and create schematics using CAD tools. We offer you the opportunity to work on international projects – in close cooperation with our teams in Germany and abroad.

You can have a very good Abitur or Fachabitur – your strengths are in mathematics, physics and computer science. It is important that you meet the admission requirements for studying at the Bremen University of Applied Sciences and that you have successfully enrolled in the dual Bachelor's degree programme for electrical engineering before the start of your training. In addition to your interest in measuring technology, electronics and innovative technologies, you will bring curiosity, readiness and motivation to actively shape the future of measuring technology. First knowledge in the handling of CAD tools for circuit development (e.g. with Altium Designer, Eagle, KiCad), programming (e.g. C/C++, Python) or simulation tools (e.g. MATLAB, LTspice) make it easier for you to quickly find yourself in our development landscape, but are not a must. Due to our international orientation we focus on your good English knowledge in word and writing. Furthermore, you convince us by your independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working, analysis strength, a high degree of initiative and team spirit.
