Network Engineer (m/f/d)
The Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine in the Helmholtz Association aims to change the medicine of tomorrow through our discoveries of today. At our locations in Berlin-Buch, Berlin-Mitte, Heidelberg and Mannheim, our researchers work interdisciplinary to decode the complexity of diseases at system level – from molecules and cells to organs and the entire organism. In partnerships with science, clinic and industry, as well as in global networks, we strive to transfer biological knowledge to applications in order to detect health deviations early, to develop personalized therapies and ultimately to enable the prevention of diseases. Founded in 1992, the Max Delbrück Center inspires and promotes a diverse talent pool of around 1,800 people from more than 70 countries. We are funded to 90 percent by the federal government and to 10 percent by the state of Berlin. For current projects of the Berlin Institute of Health at Charité (BIH) and the Max Delbrück Center, we are looking for reinforcement for the IT network team. Projects include, for example, the Genomrechenzentrum (GRZ) as part of the genomDE model project and the German Human Genome Phenomena Archive (GHGA). They work across the organization in the Max Delbrück Center network team on Campus Book and in the working group of Prof. Dieter Beule am BIH in Berlin-Mitte. .
