Technician Station and Process Automation (a*)

You are responsible for parameterizing, commissioning and performing tests on remote control devices for local network stations as well as gateways for connecting EEG systems and ensure their reliable operation. Analysis, fault diagnosis and troubleshooting in remote control also belongs to your task. You work closely with our customers and customers and support them directly on site if necessary. In addition, you actively contribute to the further development of our remote control technology. These include in particular solutions for local network stations, EEG gateways and their connection to control systems and data platforms. Together with your team, you develop new technical concepts based on IEC 61850 and accompany their implementation. In addition, you can participate in laboratory tests, functional tests and commissioning on site. The professional support and support of our trainees is also your responsibility. You pass on your knowledge and promote their professional development. Your task profile is rounded off by participating in the readiness to ensure reliable operation of our systems.

You have successfully completed a technical-commercial training and have a training course on the technician or master (a*) in the field of electrical engineering, energy or automation technology or a comparable qualification. Finding knowledge in network and communication technology, in particular in the fields of IP/TCP, Ethernet, routing, VLAN and MQTT, will be brought along and will be used safely in practice. In addition, you have experience in dealing with common remote control protocols such as IEC 60870-5-104 and IEC 61850 as well as a good understanding of the construction and operation of electrical power supply networks. You work structured, carefully and analytically and enjoy understanding technical relationships, identifying causes of errors and developing sustainable solutions. Working with the team is fun and you actively contribute your ideas to the common development of concepts and solutions. You share your knowledge openly and support your colleagues. A secure and service-oriented appearance towards customers is just as good as your distinct communication and organizational ability. A class B driving license completes your profile.
