In an innovative environment characterized by the joy of experimentation and flat hierarchies, you introduce your DLT expert and contribute significantly to the digital transformation of the Deutsche Bundesbank. As part of our IT DLT team, we are looking for a dedicated DLT engineer for Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) based systems. As a DLT engineer (m/w/d), you are responsible for building, integrating and operating EVM-based DLT platforms in cloud environments. You make sure that these platforms are scalable, resilient, safe and interoperable with other (DLT) systems. In addition, you develop smart contracts for stakeholders and support them in the technical and technical design of use cases with tokenized assets.

Build robust EVM-based DLT architectures taking into account modern layer 1 and layer 2 principles. Design scalable and resilient system landscapes seamlessly into existing IT or DLT systems can be integrated and convert cross-chain interoperability to architecture and application levels. Design smart contracts and secure end-to-end solutions for the entire life cycle of tokenized assets – from emission to administration to settlement. actively create technical and professional use cases based on standard ERC/EIP standards in cooperation with various stakeholders. In addition, you are responsible for the secure management of Wallet and Custody solutions while maintaining high security requirements. Use proven security methods to identify and model critical attack vectors in close cooperation with security experts. Watch current developments in the DLT and Web3 environment and make an active contribution to promoting continuous knowledge building within your team.

Master or equivalent degree in a subject area relevant to the position (e.g. MINT) Mind. 2 years of experience in the development and deployment of EVM architectures and smart contracts Good German knowledge Very good English skills In addition, it is desirable: Very good knowledge in building distributed and resilient systems with a good understanding of system design concepts and architectures, ideally through appropriate professional experience Very good knowledge of the development and deployment of EVM architectures (layer 1 and/or layer 2 systems) and the development of smart contracts, e.g. with solidity Knowledge of Web3 technologies such as Tokenization, Account Abstraction, Data Indexers, dApps, Bridging, Oracles, Validiums with ZKP (Zero-Knowledge Proof) cryptography Very good knowledge in an object-oriented programming language, for example TypeScript, JavaScript, Go, Rust Experience with web applications/services and backend APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) Experience in handling wallet and custody solutions, especially in the safe management of tokenized assets Experience in DevOps (e.g. DevSecOps) of advantage Knowledge of containerization and Kubernetes are desirable Experience in implementing complex projects including stakeholder management of advantage Teamability in an agile environment Embossed capacity for customer-oriented representation of complex facts readiness and suitability for scheduled service trips Good German and very good English communication skills
