Teamleiter Location near Hamburg, from 1 October 2026 or as early as possible, full-time – 36 hours per week

You lead and develop the currently 7-member team in operational purchasing and are responsible for resource management, prioritisation and escalation management and promote cross-departmental cooperation with relevant stakeholders. Expectedly, you control all operational purchasing activities for material supply – starting with capacity and demand planning, through procurement and contract management, until after-sales management, you will ensure timely project and production processes. With a good sense, you choose and control providers to strategically develop our supplier portfolio, including expert qualification, performance assessment and performance of audits to ensure quality and deliverability. In negotiations with national and international partners, you achieve both profitable prices and optimal conditions for perspective cooperation, keep a close eye on risks and have suitable alternatives for supply bottlenecks, deviating services and other incidents. Through competent cooperation with strategic purchasing and other departments – including make-or-buy decisions, outsourcing initiatives, company-wide process optimizations, compliance, CVP and digitalization projects – you contribute to the maximization of profit and future business success.

Completed technical or commercial training plus further training, e.g. for industrial specialists Economics, as an alternative to a degree in Business Administration (BWL), Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or a comparable qualification Multiannual practice in purchasing, at best know-how in project business or machine and plant engineering, change management and in cooperation in complex matrix organizations Multiannual leadership experience and fun to guide a shopping team, advance the collaboration of your team and the individual employees Very good German and good English in word and writing as well as routine with MS Office, integrated ERP systems, ideally SAP Time flexibility, driving licence class B and readiness for regular missions Sovereign appearance, solution orientation and negotiation skills – even in challenging situations
