Engineer (m/w/d)

Purpose and objective We are looking for a machine operator with a welding background (m/w/d) for Langenfeld.

Your tasks:

• Check the availability of raw materials and provision of the same
• Implementation of machine cheques and control of the quality of raw material
• Preparation of machines by inserting punching tools, riveting tools and cutting tools (1 - 2 similar machines)
• Device of the machines by precise adjustment of components and performing measurements on the first piece
• Production of the required quantities according to orders under monitoring processes and adjustments as required
• Monitoring of wear, correct handling of materials and proper stacking
• Welding of band ends and sorting of welds on the finished products at certain plants
• Summary of finished orders and delivery at defined locations by crane or lift trucks
• Support for repair measures in cooperation with maintenance

Your profile:

• Complete training in a metalworking profession (e.g. plant mechanic, industrial mechanic with a focus on production technology) or equivalent qualification
• Long-term professional experience in these fields of activity
• Responsibility, reliability and rapid opinion
• readiness to work in shift work
