The Editorial Planning & Launch Management team supports Global Communications Mercedes-Benz Cars & Vans in PR planning and editorial work. The area shapes and coordinates communication measures on innovation, technologies and brand for national and international media. These challenges include: Investigation of the change in PR work by Artificial Intelligence (AI) with focus on press information and other PR formats Identification of other AI potentials in PR together with the company Development of concrete measures for higher AI and LLM readiness The activity can start from October 2026. The final topics will be discussed with the university, you and us.

Course of Communications, Humanities, Social Sciences or Economics, Marketing, Journalistics/Media or comparable to planned Bachelor's or Master's thesis Valid certificate of enrollment and proof of the possibility to prepare a final thesis (additional application) Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Safe handling of MS Office as well as pronounced curiosity and first experience in handling AI tools Commitment, care, liability and team capacity Analytical, structured and independent thinking and working methods First experience in media, press work, corporate communication, editorial or AI-based communication is desirable You have a high affinity for the automotive industry and media Driver's license class B Additional information: We are looking forward to your online application with CV, lettering, certificates, current enrollment certificate with an indication of the semester and proof of the regular study period.
