Data Protection and Information Security Assistant (m/w/d)

Support us in the protection of our digital territory – as the right hand of the Information Security Officer (ISB) and Data Protection Officer (DSB) in Saint Augustin and Berlin as Assistant Data Protection and Information Security (m/w/d). Your mission As a “resistance data protection and information security” you support the Data Protection and Information Security Officer in the operational implementation and continuous further development of our integrated data protection and information security management system (DIMS) according to GDPR, ISO/IEC 27001 and BSI IT basic protection. They help to effectively implement technical and organizational measures (TOMs), translate legal requirements into practice and guide our organization safely through audits and risks.

Participation in care and further development of the DIMS taking into account GDPR, ISO 27001 and BSI IT-Grundschutz Support in the creation and maintenance of guidelines, procedural instructions, TOMs and data protection documentation Support in the implementation of risk analyses, protection requirements and action plans Pre- and post-processing internal and external audits Organisation and operational implementation of awareness measures and training Cooperation in the coordination and documentation of information security and data protection incidents (including evaluation, action planning, Lessons Learned) Interface work with information technology, commercial services, HR and quality management.

Complete training or studies in the field of IT, information security, data protection or comparable qualifications First practical experience in the environment of data protection, information security or compliance desirable Structured, precise and conscientious operation Analytical thinking, high IT affinity and sense of responsibility Good knowledge about office tools Ready for further education (e.g. ISO 27001, data protection certificates, IT basic protection) Very good German knowledge in word and writing, ideal also English skills
