System Engineer - Identity & Access Management (IAM) (m/f/d)

A technical specialist operating as an operational and conceptual interface between the IT infrastructure and the professional IAM team is required to build, develop and operate a central identity & access management system. The role ensures that applications, systems and directories are connected and operated in a structured manner to the leading IAM system. Technical integration & operation Connection of new and existing applications to the central IAM system (provisioning, role/right assignment, SSO/SAML integration). Implementation and maintenance of technical IAM interfaces as well as automation processes. Ensuring stable and secure operation of the IAM platform in close cooperation with IT infrastructure teams. Directory Services & Authorities Administration and optimization of Active Directory, Group Structures and GPOs. Development and maintenance of authorization concepts for central and decentralised systems. Analysis, purification and harmonisation of existing authorization landscapes. Interface function Technical translation of technical requirements from the IAM team in feasible IT architecture decisions. Close coordination with IT infrastructure, application managers and security. Supporting the areas of expertise in role modeling and access control issues. Security and Compliance Implementation of security and compliance requirements in the area of identity & access. Working with audits, recertifications and control processes. Monitoring and evaluation of safety-relevant events in the IAM context.

A completed study (e.g. business informatics, industrial engineering) or a completed training with several years of professional experience Multiannual experience in the technical IAM environment (e.g. Omada, One Identity or comparable platforms). Knowledge found in Active Directory, Group Policy, Directory Services, SSO Technologies (OAuth2, SAML) and Permission Concepts. Experience with automation (PowerShell, API connections) Personal competencies Analytical, structured way of thinking with high quality standards. Ability to communicate technical complexity clearly and understandably. Independent, responsible operation and high level of implementation. Experience in cooperation with different stakeholders. German language skills required
