With modern network, cloud and security solutions, we support the digitalization of our global societies. We are looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer (m/w/d).

Responsibility for the safe and stable operation of our international network and security infrastructure Planning and implementation of network and security projects focusing on modernization, standardization and automation Administration and development of firewalls, WLAN, switching, VPN and cloud networking solutions Administrative tasks for adjacent (security) systems such as e-mail security gateways & domain administration, web application firewall and network access control systems Analysis of security events and continuous optimization of network and security architectures Design and implementation of new network and cloud connections for server and business applications Technical advice of internal departments and IT teams as well as control of external partners Participation in national and international infrastructure projects with occasional external services at our domestic subsidiaries

Completed studies or comparable training with a focus on IT At least seven years of experience in building, operating and developing network and security infrastructures Knowledge of routing, switching, WiFi, firewalls and VPN technologies – ideally with appropriate certifications (e.g. CCNA, CCNP, NSE 4-7, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, CISSP, GIAC) Practical experience with modern security solutions and a high understanding of current cybersecurity requirements Ideally knowledge in cloud networking, especially in the Microsoft-Azure environment Enthusiasm for new technologies and the willingness to continuously develop Structured, analytical and self-sponsored working methods combined with strong team and communication skills Very good German knowledge (at least C1) and fluent English knowledge (at least B2)
