As Presales Consultant VMware, you support sales and advise customers on VMware solutions. You combine technical understanding with commercial responsibility and accompany customers along the entire sales process. In close cooperation with the Account Team and internal departments, you develop tailor-made solutions and support their successful implementation.

Sales & customer consulting Active sales and positioning of VMware solutions as well as consulting customers on products, licensing and contract models Analysis of customers with regard to cross- and upselling potentials and identification of service opportunities Implementation of customer presentations and development of individual solutions Supply & Business Development Creation of offers, processing of leads and tenders and proactive creation of Renewal offers Implementation of price research taking into account existing contracts, SLA and response times Cooperation & Customer Care Close cooperation with Account Team, Services Presales and internal departments Construction and maintenance of relationships with customers, manufacturers and distributors Support in escalation and continuous professional development in the VMware environment

Education & Experience You have a completed commercial training or a corresponding study You have several years of professional experience in sales and ideally experience in the B2B environment as well as in the VMware environment Customer orientation & communication You are a team player with a good sense of customer needs and convince by your safe and sympathetic appearance You are communicative and do not hesitate to conduct even more demanding discussions with customers or partners Working methods and tools You have good Excel skills and ideally have experience with Navision or Dynamics 365 You have a quick understanding and a pronounced problem-solving competence
