System Engineer (m/f/d) Citrix

In the strategic Management Center Group IT Services of Zeppelin GmbH at our location in Garching near Munich or tilt in Achim, we are currently looking for a 'System Engineer (m/f/d) Citrix'. Your tasks & responsibilities: In your role as a ''System Engineer (m/f/d) Citrix' you are responsible for the “Remote Access / Virtual Workplace” service as well as for the steering, coordination and the quality control of our external service provider.

You will therefore be responsible for the monitoring and tracking of SLA, KPI and service performance as well as the incident, problem and escalation management in an international environment.

In addition, you want to contribute to the planning and further development of the technical roadmap in the areas of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, remote access solutions and cloud-based virtual desktop technologies.

You want to be in batch of the evaluation and introduction of future-oriented technologies such as Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), AWS WorkSpaces / AppStream and hybrid workplace architectures.

In addition to this, you will work on the preparation and moderation of service reviews with internal stakeholders and external partners.

The coordination with security, network, workplace as well as the support in budget, licensing, and capacity planning so belong to your area of responsibility.

What we are looking for: Completed degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification

Several years of experience in IT service management or as a Service Owner / Service Manager

Solid knowledge in at least one of the following areas: Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops

Azure Virtual Desktop

AWS End User Computing Services

Remote access & VPN technologies

Experience in managing external service providers and offshore teams

Understanding of ITIL processes as well as SLA/KPI management

Technical understanding of modern cloud and hybrid architectures

Strong communication skills in international teams

Structured and independent working style

Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
