The Center for Regenerative Therapies Dresden (CRTD) is a research centre at TU Dresden with more than 20 research groups and more than 250 employees. The research focus of CRTD is on regeneration and stem cell research. Our research approaches extend from basic research to application in the clinical-translational context. Together with its partner institutes BCUBE and BIOTEC, the CRTD forms a central scientific institution of the TUD, the Center of Molecular and Cellular Bioengineering (CMCB). The scientifically independent institutes work together under this umbrella, above all in terms of their strategic development within the university and combine teaching, administration, scientific infrastructure and services.

As part of your activity, you are responsible for the management of the laboratory and support research on neural stem cells of the model organism Maus. Your tasks included the handling and development of a transgenic mouse line (including genotyping and colony managament), the support of the planning and implementation of animal experiments on the model organism, the preparation, processing and analysis (immuno-) histological preparations (e.g. immunohistochemistry/fluorescence/ advanced imaging and analysis), the collection and quantification of microscopy-immunocular methods as well as the application They develop and optimise protocols and techniques and advise researchers on the application of these. In addition, you are responsible for the laboratory organization (e.g. the manufacture of chemicals and reagents, operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment, evaluation and documentation of test results, etc.). They support the professorship in implementing measures to prevent work accidents and health hazards and ensure the proper use of protective equipment.
