About the department The medical controller serves as an interface between the administrative area of the clinic and the medical-clinic operation. The tasks of the department in the stationary and outpatient area are the saving of revenue, the implementation and process optimisation of the coding and MD processes, as well as the further development of the aG-DRG and PEPP system with optimal imaging of the treatments carried out in the UKT. Team management of the medical encoding staff of a department in all related technical and personnel tasks Coordination of coding of stationary and outpatient cases incl. Support of the team Processing of enquiries from cost carriers and medical services Analysis of the services of the specialist departments to optimize coding quality and processes Close cooperation with the lines of further encoding rooms of the clinic as well as all those involved in the process, such as clinical specialist departments, patient administration and central controlling

Basic medical knowledge of a training in a health profession (e.g. health care and nursing staff) Coupled with experience in hospital financing (DRG) or in medical controlling in combination with an economic training or a study of the business economy, health economy or care management Experience in leadership of teams Knowledge of Intensive Medicine, General, Visceral and Transplant Surgery or Heart-Thorax Vascular Surgery Very good oral and written ability to communicate with cost-beneficiaries and the medical service Minimum language level C1
