PROFESSUR ‘PHYSIOTHERAPIE’ (W2)

Your main tasks:

› Acquisition of courses in the Bachelor's and Master's Programme Physiotherapy as well as in interprofessional courses of study

› Making references between clinical medicine, psychology, public health, global health, evidence-based physiotherapy and best practice in curricular teaching

› Participation in the curricular and didactic further development of the study offer – in particular in the field of interprofessional teaching

› Research in the context of physiotherapy

› Establishment and deepening of research and practice transfer between the university and its cooperation partners and regional, national and international networks

Your profile:

› Professional admission as a physiotherapist

› Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy and Master's degree in Physiotherapy or another health science specialist

› Multiannual professional experience with practical application of physiotherapy in sick care

› Including further training with a recognizable focus from one of the following areas: musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary, neurological or sports and movement therapy

› Experience in physiotherapeutical research and teaching

› Good knowledge of German and English; Willingness to take courses in English

Prerequisite for the appointment according to §§ 67, 68 HessHG

› a qualified doctorate,

› proven pedagogical suitability,

› special achievements in the application and development of scientific knowledge and methods in at least five years of professional practice, of which at least three years outside the higher education sector or additional scientific achievements.

The occupation of the place is usually carried out in accordance with § 67 para. 7 HessHG in the official relationship to rehearsal. The trial period is three years. The body is available indefinitely.
