• Provide legal support for Uniper's global raw material business by providing expert advice and guidance on derivative and physical transactions in a variety of energy raw materials, focusing on renewable PPA structures.

• Guide the negotiation and management of framework trade agreements (e.g. ISDA, EFET) or other documentation on renewable PPAs.

• Work closely with the commercial and risk functions within the Uniper Group and support in the development, production and negotiation of structured commodity transactions.

• Provide legal support in coordinating and setting up internal structures and processes and help in creating and implementing internal agreements. Support in identifying, evaluating and monitoring current and emerging regulatory and compliance issues related to the business.

• Coordinate with all members of the company (worldwide) to help solve the daily legal problems of the global trading business and the energy transition of Uniper.

• Fully qualified lawyer or business lawyer with strong academic references required.

• Preferred relevant experience with renewable PPAs in various European legal systems.

• Multiannual experience in consulting and negotiating framework trade agreements (e.g. ISDA, EFET).

• Preferred multiannual experience in consulting customers in structured commodity trading, in particular electricity and natural gas.

• Specific experience with REMIT, MiFID, EMIR and/or Dodd Frank preferred.

• Strong attention for details, analytical skills, judgment, enthusiasm and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced, global environment.

• Ability to take over the leadership and work independently on all tasks within the job description.

• Excellent oral and written mastery of English is essential; German knowledge very helpful.

• Focused, well-organized, team-oriented and agile personality.

• Collaborative working.

• Reliable and trustworthy lawyer capable of building strong relationships at all levels of the company and with all internal and external stakeholders and acting as an objective and impartial advisor.
