Together with its local network partners, the Foundation offers a national educational programme for educational specialists and teachers. You are supported to accompany children in Kita and Primary Schools qualified in the discovery, research and learning. The Foundation for Children researches educational opportunities, promotes interest in the STEM area and professionalizes educational staff. We are looking for the support of our “Digital Development & Infrastructure” team in the Department of Administration & Infrastructure at the next time:n Consultant:in for IT security and technical data protection (w/m/d)

Reference number 2026-014 Full-time 39 hours/week, initially limited to 2 years.

IT security: Strategic responsibility and operational implementation: You take over the technical leadership for the IT security of our hybrid infrastructure and ensure the continuous protection of our systems You identify proactive safety risks, develop protective measures and implement them You are responsible for backup solutions as well as emergency concepts and ensure that our IT infrastructure always meets the current security standards Technical data protection: Compliance as a central component: You actively shape our data protection management system and check new tools and functions You are responsible for the topicality and completeness of technical data protection documents and ensure compliance with legal requirements You coordinate and accompany data protection audits and implement technical measures to comply with compliance System administration: Secure IT processes as the basis: You operate and optimize our server landscape (Linux/Windows) as well as virtualization and storage systems with a focus on security and performance You manage central network services (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy) and ensure a stable, secure IT environment

You have completed vocational training or studies in the IT sector, ideally focusing on IT security or data protection You have practical experience in the administration of server environments (Linux/Windows), virtualization, network services and handling firewall and backup solutions with You have well-founded knowledge in technical data protection and encourage you to develop our data protection processes Your analytical skills and a solution-oriented approach recognize security risks early and help you to act proactively You bring team spirit as well as communication strength and you enjoy communicating complex IT topics in a comprehensible way Your German skills are at least at level C1 (written and oral) Our values and goals address you, you want to be part of a team that drives digital education and innovation
