As System Architect (m/w/d) - Digitization projects, you will take over the following tasks: Design and development of holistic system architectures for digitalization projects at the tactical level in armed forces, both in hardware and software Analysis of project requirements and translation of these into tailored, scalable and secure system architectures selection, integration and adaptation of technologies to meet the specific needs of the armed forces Cooperation with Project Managers, Senior System Engineers and IT Network Integrators to ensure seamless integration of different system components Ensuring system stability, scalability and security standards across the entire architecture Responsibility for the continuous improvement of architecture and adaptation to changing requirements in the course of projects Documentation of architectural decisions and provision of technical advice throughout the entire project life cycle

Complete studies in the field of computer science, engineering or a comparable technical field Military background and sound knowledge of the requirements of the armed forces in the context of IT systems and architectures Multiannual experience in the design and development of complex system architectures, ideally in the military or safety-critical environment Experience in the integration of hardware and software solutions as well as the selection of suitable technologies to achieve project objectives In-depth understanding of architectural principles, system integration and the related challenges Excellent problem solving capabilities and the ability to design and optimize complex systems Very good communication skills in German and English. Certifications in relevant architectural methods such as TOGAF or similar are advantageous JOBV1_EN
