Engineering Lead - One-Design-System (m/f/d)

The Schwarz IT supports the entire digital infrastructure and all software solutions of the companies of the Schwarz Group. It is therefore responsible for selecting, providing and operating as well as further developing IT infrastructures, IT platforms and business applications. In order to optimally support the departments through IT solutions in their business processes, the Schwarz IT takes up the requirements of the departments in consultations and works together with these professional and efficient IT solutions. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced leadership personality that lifts our design system to the next level. As an Engineering Lead, you will significantly shape the future of our UI components and promote a culture of excellence and innovation.

Team Leadership & Development: You lead and develop a hybrid team (internal/external) to achieve common goals. Component development: You develop and care for high-quality, reusable UI components (Vue.js, TypeScript) for our design system that work smoothly in various applications. Quality assurance: You ensure the highest quality by testing (Playwright, Vitest) and code reviews. Knowledge sharing & documentation: You promote the exchange of knowledge and acceptance of our systems through documentation, mentoring and feedback. Innovation & further development: You bring your own ideas and actively shape the technical development of our component libraries. Excellent user experience: You support other teams in the integration of the design system and contribute to an outstanding user experience across the company. .
