Geospatial Solutions & Data Engineer (m/f/d)

Conception and continuous (further) development of digital geo, data and analysis applications Integration, modelling, processing and quality assurance of relevant geo, environmental and technical data Analysis of technical requirements and their translation into sustainable data, interface and application solutions Compilation of analyses, evaluations and decision bases for products, assessments and risk models Identification, evaluation and introduction of new methods and technologies in the field of geodata, analytics, automation and digital applications Documentation of concepts, data models, data flows, interfaces and technical solutions Control and support of prototyping, testing and rollout of digital solutions in close coordination with specialist areas, in-house IT and external partners as well as promoting knowledge transfer to successful introduction of data-driven applications

Completed study of geoinformatics, geography, computer science, geodesy, data science or comparable discipline Multiannual experience with GIS, geoanalysis or comparable data platforms Knowledge of geoinformatics, data modeling, data integration and databases/SQL programming experience, e.g. with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript or R Ideally knowledge of remote sensing, APIs, cloud technologies, app development or AI/ML Analytical, structured and solution-oriented working methods as well as joy in cooperation with specialist areas Very good German knowledge and good English skills
