Emergency paramedic or intensive care nurse (f|m|d) in our worldwide ADAC ambulance service

As part of your activity, you will assist in medical clarification by evaluating the diagnostics carried out and required, classifying the local supply standard and assessing the transport indication and transportability. In addition, ensure the continued medical care at the destination and support the organization of suitable target beds. You coordinate and support the medical case processing both internally and externally by taking over the relevant documentation tasks in the Hermes case processing system in medically treated cases. You conduct patient talks, coordinate case processing and assign appointments and tasks to the medical staff. You support the medical case treatment both internally and externally by taking up relevant documentation tasks in medically treated cases. In addition, you take over the medical check and check the insurance cover under medical supervision and instruction, taking into account medical and insurance criteria, including the collection of the required documents and information. You take over the cost containment by checking billing orders for your medical plausibility and the appropriateness for the local price level.

You have a completed training for emergency medical or nursing staff, a further training in anaesthesia and intensive care or emergency care is required. You bring at least five years of professional experience in direct patient care, as well as at least three months of experience in an intensive or IMC station or in emergency room. You also have very good English skills, and further language skills are of advantage. You bring the willingness to work in shiftwork until 23:00 – also on Sundays and holidays (no night shifts).
