Support us as Lead Software Architect (m/w/x) in our Business Unit Semiconductor Mask Solutions (SMS) at Roßdorf.

They are responsible for creating and developing the integral software architecture of a complete product in the field of photomask systems in semiconductor chip production

your focus is on automation, wartability and good usability to increase machine efficiency and improve customer experience

They are also responsible for architectural decisions and technical feasibility compared to management and customers Product development

Participation in the creation of the product roadmap in consultation with the project system engineers and project management as well as product management

They are part of an interdisciplinary and international expert team

in this environment, you work in close cooperation with product managers, project managers, testers and architects on our excellent products and make your important contribution to our customer success

completed High/Fachhochschulstudie der Informatik or comparable qualification (even with doctoral degree)

at least 7 years of professional experience in software development for complex special machines, like simulation and algorithms, connected systems (e.g. Industry 4.0, automation), virtualization, hardware-related programming

Expert knowledge and multiannual experience in product-related, modular software architecture and their documentation

Preferential knowledge of semiconductor lithography technology, mask design and production as well as the technological market trends in complex software architecture in special machine construction

Knowledge in handling process and project tracking tools (e.g. JIRA, TFS) and central version management (e.g. GIT)

Experience with static code analysis and software media

high self-motivation and drive together with your team to achieve success

Ability to express system thinking at content level

Communication strength, enthusiasm and joy of decision

very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
