Görg) at Campus Lübeck The University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein (UKSH) connects top international research with interdisciplinary medical care. We are the only maximum provider and largest employer in the state of Schleswig-Holstein. Our around 17,000 employees ensure a highly individual care – indispensable for the people in the country. At the Lübeck site, the institute offers a wide range of diagnostics with the fields of immunohaematology, infection testing and transplant immunology including DSO regional laboratory. Centralized further processing and testing of all full blood donations of the UKSH takes place at Campus Lübeck. In addition, the institute operates two blood donation centres and a travel medical ambulance. The Campus Kiel also includes the areas of stem cell production, further processing and quality control of stem cell products and the thrombocyte laboratory as part of the Institute for Transfusion Medicine. In addition, there is the possibility of participation in the UKSH coagulation collectives at both locations.
