Social Workers/Social Pedagogues (m/f/d)

Since its foundation in 1991, Thüringen e.V. has been providing professional social work throughout various projects. He sees himself as a partner of social services in justice, justice and other judicial authorities and institutions. For the implementation, a nationwide perpetrator program was created with violent conflict counselling centres for perpetrators.

For our project ORANGE – Perpetual work we are looking for a parental leave from 01.08.2026 (probably up to 30.09.2027)

Social worker/Social education (m/w/d)

Your task:

• Advising adults who have become violent towards their (ex-) partners, children, other family members or other persons living in the social area or fear violent escalation with the aim of ending violence (protection of victims)
• Implementation of consultations in individual settings and preparation for the group offer
• Designing and implementing group offers to change behaviour according to existing group program
• Crisis intervention consultancy
• Network work mainly with justice, women's support institutions, police and youth assistance
• Case documentation and the creation of annual reports and statistics
• demand-oriented consulting at the locations Erfurt, Gera and the surrounding area

Your profile:

• Professional experience in education
• a completed study of social work / social education or comparable degree
• Knowledge and skills in psychosocial and social education
• knowledge of the dynamics of violence, gender-specific advice, conflicts and communication
• Experience in individual and group work
• professional empathy in work with people in difficult situations of life
• independent work and a very high communication capability
• Police certificate without registration
• temporary readiness within Thuringia

We offer:

• a fixed-term employment relationship in part-time with an hourly rate of about 20 to 30 hours per week for the duration of the parental leave, with the option of an indefinite, equal level further employment in the association with appropriate suitability
• a compensation based on your qualification
• 30 days of leave per calendar year for a calendar week with five working days
• additional working day on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve
• fixed working hours (Mo-Fr)
• Participation in Supervision and Team Events
